THE SCHOOL-WIDE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION PROGRAM

For those with IEP goals in behavior

Students receiving resource support at Roper for behavior are in good hands! Leveled plans are based on the Boystown model and are focused on positive reinforcement for good behavior and teaching missing skills. This model also holds students accountable who have frequent struggles in the classroom by taking away things like recess with peers or other fun activities. This will be the SPED team's second year using this intervention (that the ENTIRE school supports) and year one was a huge success! Students who participated have shown much more responsibility, heightened awareness, and growth overall as individuals. Click the photos below to learn more!
